How To Create A Good Work Team?

Success is the desired goal for most companies and entrepreneurs starting a new business. One of the keys to achieving it, and one of the first requirements to undertake a project, is creating a good team. Effective teams have several essential elements in common:
  • Collaboration.
  • Participatory decision-making.
  • A commitment to shared goals.
  • Continuous learning.
  • Openness to new ideas.
  • The ability to adapt to unforeseen circumstances.
  • A willingness to embrace diversity.

One of the main challenges is to evaluate the team you have and to make sure they have what it takes to help you meet your goals. Here are six tips that can be useful to you.

1. DO NOT BE GUIDED BY FIRST IMPRESSIONS:

Do not believe what others can tell you about your team members. Listen, check his files, but form your own opinions. Talk to them in individual meetings and observe the dynamics of their group interactions and with the other teams in the company. Once you have made your diagnosis of the area or the situation, you will know whether or not your team has the skills and attitude you need to fulfill your plans.

2. . DO NOT HIRE CLONES:

It is easier to hire and work with people who think and act like you, but it is not always the best for the organization. As a manager, you must recruit team members who enrich you and from whom you can learn, but above all, people who know to conceive and execute the job brilliantly.

3. LOOK FOR DIFFERENT PERSONALITIES:

Try to get people who have different ideas and personalities so that their contributions are complementary to your company. There are several personalities: the ‘creative’ or the person with ideas; the ‘seller,’ who sells those ideas; the lover of ‘controls,’ who keeps them in order; and the ‘that drives, that persists and moves people. Try to have these personalities on your team.

4. GOOD ATTITUDE:

A person with a good attitude will be an asset to your team and the organization. Look for people who are positive, proactive, listening, energetic, with good interpersonal relationships, a solid career path, and you will probably win. In addition, who is emotionally intelligent and has a good attitude will learn what is necessary for the growth of your company?

5. INCULCATE RESPECT:

Your team members have to want to be part of it. Keep spoilers away, which may seem charming, but they are distracting, which can be detrimental to the team. Your group members must respect each other and recognize that each one is the best on their subject. In teamwork, the leader often has to give up his leadership to whoever may have more expertise in a particular situation. Without respect for the professionalism of the other, this isn’t easy to achieve.

6. DO NOT GET CARRIED OUT BY FEELINGS:

There will be times that you will be a companion of people you do not like; this is very common, and you must be able to put your judgments and feelings aside to be able to work as a team, there are things that you can never change, but if you can change the way you relate to that person and you must find a way to agree with them to achieve the goals of the team.
