From the biggest to the smallest company there is something that they have in common, and that for me is the reason to be of a company, CUSTOMERS. all companies no matter what they do work for customers, that is why keeping and loyal to those customers are so important.

I am pretty sure that not exist one company that is unique in its product, the only one which sells something, the only one which makes something; so this offers customers many options at the moment to purchase or ask for a service.

That is why is so important to loyal the customer but how? Well, there are many strategies but here I am going to focus on the is important since my point of view CUSTOMER SERVICE.


1. WHY CUSTOMER SERVICE?

Imagine that you are having dinner in the best restaurant, the one with the best menu, beautiful decoration, clean, but the waitress is so rude, she doesn’t pay attention to you, you have to go and look for her, she brings to you the wrong food, she takes hours to bring the food.

Will you come back to that restaurant?

2. LISTEN

The first thing is to listen and analyze what the customer is saying not just listen to reply to something if you need to take notes in order to not forget important details.

3. SMILE

This will make difference, even if you are on the phone is notable when you are smiling, this not only helps to soften the customer if they are upset, but also sends the message that you are happy to help, to attend, and makes the customer feel comfortable.

4. BE IN HIS/HER SHOES

Is more than trying to understand is being empathetic with what the customer is telling you, what do you like to receive if you are in the same situation? What if was your mother? so take the time to analyze the situation and provide an accurate solution.

5. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF!

Yes, good personal care is very important, have a professional appearance, send the message that you care for you and you are responsible, people treat you in the way they perceive you.

6. ONE THING AT THE TIME

Sometimes is not easy to focus on just one thing, but if you can do it. Do it!!! Try to solve all the issues or requests of one customer before moving to the next one, this can help to avoid forgetting things or making mistakes.

Customer service is the clue to loyal your customers, is ore easier loyal your customers than find new ones.
